一个叫尼古拉斯男孩儿将要成为下一个圣诞老人，但是首先要避免一场危机，他将如何战胜邪恶的魔法，成为圣诞老人？。孙子威（周润发 饰）与梁宝儿（缪骞人 饰）结婚八年，并育有一子，眼下他们的婚姻因孙子威的出轨而处于崩溃的边缘。梁决意离婚，加入了五个同性好友的“单身女性俱乐部”，然而在这些女人表面的恣意之下，却深深潜藏着孤独的痛苦。另一方面，孙子威与情人沙妞（钟楚红 饰）正式同居，二人的关系看似热烈，但孙子威仍然对梁宝儿念念不忘。终于到了协议离婚的时刻，孙子威醒悟自己对前妻难以割舍，遂终止了同沙妞的关系，回到梁宝儿身边，可再次走到一起的两人，并没有理顺生活的所有矛盾…… 本片为香港导演关锦鹏处女作，获当年香港金像奖与金马奖多项提名。。The Moliere players are in their dressing room, getting ready to go on set. One actor mentions to another that his face reminds him of an opportunist turncoat he knew when he was in the Resistance. He then relates the adventure that he had in the Resistance, running an illegal radio station and dodging the Nazis.。
